Yelp softly 10 point Y Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 4,231 Central Alabama	Bass Pro Shop is sponsoring a tournament this Saturday in Macon, GA. The catch is that you must fish a creek, river, or stream. No boats with motors allowed and no fishing on a lake. You can kayak, canoe, or wade. 1st through 5th place can win a kayak in the avid angler division. I am thinking about driving over but I have never fished around Macon before. I think tournament rules allow any body of water except lakes within a 60 mile radius of Macon. I think the tournament boundary stretches from Conyers to Americus. Anybody got a recommendations for a creek or river to fish that my not be taken already. I'm sure the larger creeks closer to Macon will likely be packed. Any suggestions would be appreciated. "When there was no fowl, we ate crawdad, when there was no crawdad, we ate sand." jabuck63 Member J Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 141 Cullman Alabama	My fammily and I was in Macon two weeks ago for a family reunion. The kid's and I fished off the bank at Lake Tobesofkee. My wifes brother told us to fish the "Fingers" and "Duck Pond " area of the lake. We caught some nice bass, and my 10 year old caught one hybid stripe on a chrome little george. The lake has a lot of traffic but we were able to find an out of the way spot to fish. Good Luck Jabuck63
