there is a solution to that problem, run his arse off. I run a club, have for years, and if someone doesn't help out, he won't be back next year. There will always be some that do more and some that do the minimum. If you can't help a little or can't follow the rules, you will be gone.
Over the years, we have weeded out the less than desirable members and have had the same members for the last 4 years. We have 6 members on 800 acres and nobody hunts a whole lot. A few of us do most of what gets done but you better help with planting. If I tell you to do something specific, you better do it. Everyone has learned it's a bad idea to piss me off. I see myself as a benevolent dictator, until someone else does half as much as I do, they need to be do what they're told, because I don't ask for much and we have a pretty good place to hunt, only a few have left the club by their own decision in the last 7 or 8 years.
