Had another fine day fishing. Started around 5:30am, finished around 11am. Caught about 15 pounds of largemouth, 4 right at 3 pounds. My son caught all the big ones. Caught two on one lure at the same time. Both went right at 3 pounds. VERY thick, but not all that long. Note to self. Check floating live basket for holes next time. Lost all but about 5 pounds of fish to the hole.  He had to wear a pair of my shorts cause he stepped off waste deep in mud

Those look skinny to me.. Looks like someone needs to do some pond mgmt.

I don't know that there are a ton of fish bigger than them in there. On average we catch 10 fish, 2.5 to 3 pounds.
They are all shallow water and almost always in that 1 location. Bank or boat makes little difference.
There is a lot of cover in the pond now that wasn't there before.
There are also some bream, but they are small and not very numerous lately. They are almost exclusively in the other end of the place.
The deepest point in the lake is about 15 feet. Most of it is less than 5 feet
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

The deepest point in the lake is about 15 feet. Most of it is less than 5 feet Yep...sounds overstocked. The bream will become fewer, but larger, and the bass will become more numerous, but smaller. Fish it hard and keep ALL the bass you catch out of it! On our pond, the bass that were too small to dress, I just threw over the dam for a couple years, populations finally balanced and the bass started growing again, although the catch wasn't as fast and furious anymore.

We've got a couple we help manage that way. If it's as big as an edible bream we keep and fillet it. No reason to waste the meat if we can eat it.
