I wanted to post some topo pics of where we hunt and just from topo and not knowing anything else where you would hunt and why. I may update the map later and show some of my normal spots and where we have killed bucks at before. If I get enough people that like the same spot then I may try somewhere new this year. The land is roughly 500 acres. The land within the red lines is where we have to hunt. There are 2 maps the bottom one is the same place just a little south because I couldn't get the whole area in one pic.

what wind will you primarily be hunting. that is key in determining where to on hunt property like this.

I can see several places I would go, but we also need an aerial to see what the landscape looks like.

I see knobs, narrows, points and a saddle, plenty of structure .

With my work schedule just whatever I can get. Probably won't spend much time until the rut.

This land is similar to Jackson county. It is mostly mountain. You should be able to put me right on them The land is mostly big hardwoods. On the sides of some of the hills there are some cedars and thicker areas. The boottoms are planted pines but most of that is not on our lease. There are some on the south end of the lease which you can see in the Aerial I'm fixing to post.

Most of the land is bigger hard wood. The green is planted pine around 20 yesrs old. There are thicker areas on some of the steeper sides of the mountain and then there is one cedar flat.

Not exactly like Jackson you need a additional 400ft+ of elevation change and the "mountain" is much bigger. I have better luck around saddles in similar elevation changes with many fingers like you have here. You've got less than 400' of elevation change if my map ain't lying to me.

I would hunt the knob circled in yellow above and possible the one to the southwest of that one. Deer are probably coming off that point to the south side mouth of Cellar Hollow. Appears the south edge of that hollow is real steep around the bottom 1/3 moving up the hollow.

I also like the Cave Hollow in the upper portion. The points coming off into that from the North look like maybe 200' of elevation change so those a gentle slopes in mountain terms. I'd start with those points right at the mouth... probably start with the one on the right up high and see if you can look down into the hardwoods below. To get there you got a hike up the eastern slope and over the top. There is a great looking knob just off your map/property 11:00 from that hollow. Looks like the best place in that whole ridge line... huge saddle right in there. I'd walk that edge of the line to get a feel for that. Might travel right on around your way.

There is also a low saddle in that middle ridge between unnamed hollow and Cave Hollow I'd look at.

If access is from the bottom.... not optimal. Good luck!

That south facing slope in cellar holler should be where the cedar and limestone and thick stuff is

Yes it is. We rarely ever get in that area. On the thicker steeper slope I don't think anyone has ever hunted it.

Mr. Rabbit, you just answered your own query. Drop off the top , hunt along the edge where the hardwoods meet the cedars. That point just above where the Ho in Hollow is looks good. Should be a great morning spot. Stay out of the bottom of the hollow. PM me a pic of the stud you pull out of there.

That's gonna barely be on our property. The very southeast corner may be. The atv trail on the adjacent property runs right through it

We have hunted some just a touch north and to the right of the ll in hollow. My brother got a nice 6pt right there. They seem to come up the hill right in that area. We have a ladder stand on that little point right around the center above the h. I don't know if anyone has been on the left side of that point around the h in several years. That area just under the h is thicker. Right above it is a bench.

Climb the 3rd pine tree from the left and face south.
