So you think everyone with a handicap or Disabled veteran tag is a bozo

What are you talking about? Just trying to stir up chit? He said he saw an able bodied man hiking through the woods with 30 lbs on his back, with a handicap tag....he's not handicapped.

He never said anything about anyone besides this one guy.

If you saw me walking around you wouldn’t know anything about me either and I look perfectly healthy. I also have a DV tag on every vehicle I own. When you paint with a broad brush you better be ready to get some paint on yourself and if you think that stirring up some crap then so be it

I remember a sign in a handicap parking space at one of the big buildings at Ft. Bragg;

If you are not handicapped when you park here, you will be when you leave.

Okay, of all the crazy things to happen after posting this today...

I left for lunch earlier and swung by the Exchange in Oxford, AL (big shopping complex off the I-20 exit in Oxford). I wanted to keep a count of HC tags while I was out, it is 7.7 miles each way from my office to the entrance of that shopping mall. I saw 6 HC tags in total roundtrip, PLUS every HC space at Target was taken (I'm guessing there are 20 or more?)

But back to my crazy point... As I get in my truck and pull out into traffic, an extremely obese looking Democrat pulls out in front of me in a black Chrysler Town & Country minivan with a HC tag. I thought to myself that she never looked, just pulled out in front of me, but it didn't really startle me. It's about 200 yards to the next light at the I-20 exit and that light was RED, not just turning yellow then red, had been red. Traffic is starting to merge in from the exit and I realize this van is not going to stop, so I back off and expect to see a wreck. Luckily those coming off the exit saw her coming and slammed their brakes on (I'm not sure if anybody was rear-ended or not?) That van never checked up, blew right through the red light.

They are extremely easy to get, in TN it doesn’t even have to be a Doctor, NP or PA that signs it off, a Christian Science Practitioner (whatever that is) can sign it off. I had some 20 something year old guy last year bring one in for me to sign cause he occasionally has some back pain.

You know, I finally got curious enough about this trend to ask one of my black friends about this exact thing. She does not have one, but acknowledged that there is definitely a pretty strong correlation, at least around here, between race and the "Helping Schools" tag. I asked why and the only answer I could get was "we like to help schools".....it was like it was some insider secret that I didn't get to know. The entire exchange was just weird.

So why do the black folks have so many NASCAR tags too?

One thing besides the tag is those fat ass women bumping 300 one the hoof rising those carts around in Walmart and stuffing the front rack full of cakes and sweets

Love it when two of them get side by side and take up the whole isle. They then ride them all the way to their car and leave them parked in the way.

I go to the local SavMor for groceries. I go to tractor supply for dog food. I go to Napa for oil and auto parts. I go to acme for hardware.
I DO NOT go to Walmart for anything whatsoever.

Correction... I did go to Walmart this week for a rifle sling, but I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

I have a Helping Schools Tag. I pa.y an extra $50.00 for it same as you would for a University of Alabama tag. The extra goes to a local school. I do not have children in school now. I do not get free lunches or any other damn thing for it other than the schools get a little extra money. Why don't you just shut your pie hole before you need a handicap tag because your foot is sticking out your ass. Shaw. I have always thought better than that of you.

Pump the brakes there Judge. Next time you’re out and about keep up with how many Helping Schools tags you see and who are driving the cars they are on and you will see what I am talking about. Hard to believe a lot of these folks are actually willing to pay an extra $50 for it. Trust me, I’m not the only one asking this question. If you ever ride through Tuscaloosa, Pickens or Greene County you’ll damn sure see what I’m talking about.

I used to be a manager of a WM that had four of those carts. One family of four fatties (the son was over 400 lbs) would come in and hog all 4 of the carts. Invariably, I would get called to the service desk because of some older person who would actually need the was complaining that there werent any carts available. At $2K each cart, it was like pulling teeth to get the home office to give us more carts. Of course, it would help if people who didnt really need them would stay off of them.

Because they OWN the road...duh.....
