I just have to believe what I see. I spend 7 days a week in the woods and on the farm, which is heavily populated with coyotes.
And that's just in the last two years. That doesn't include having my own private lease for the past 15 years.
I just haven't seen evidence of coyotes actually killing a great deal of deer, or any larger animal at all.
Coyotes are primarily scavengers and predators of smaller game.
I'm not defending them by any means, I hate them for killing young turkeys and eating turkey eggs.
But I hate to see any animal falsely accused.
