Will try again in the morning after work. Can hopefully be in a tree by 8:30 and hunt till about Noon before returning to work.
My buddy hunted today and jumped a couple going in and had a small 3 point come under his tree this afternoon he could have shot but didn't come up to our standards.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

i saw a doe and spot yesterday morning.. they literally smelt my tree i was in. never blew, stomped, or acted nervous.... next time she will blow 100 times...

Went after work yesterday morning. Got in tree about 8:35 AM. Wasn't in tree 20 minutes when a deer west of me blew a good 10 times. Stopped for a minute or two and commenced to blowing again. Wait a few more minutes then started the third chorus. Never saw anything and the gnats and mosquitos and yellow jackets took to flight about 10. I stayed to 11:30 and had to go back to work.
My buddy was there too and saw one and had one blow at him.
Oh well, maybe later

Me either. It is a long season and many cooler days are ahead. I left my Thermacell home the other day but will get it ready just in case.

I️ been fishing. Tuna fished weekend and red fished on Monday. Too hot to hunt. May hunt tomorrow evening if I️ can get off work with the cooler weather.

Set up his afternoon. Got a good report from yesterday afternoon and came to the general area. Buddy had a good 8 walking around him at 1545 but no shot offered with how thick it was. He saw two other small bucks he let walk. Let�s see what happens. Did have a fawn get inside our fence at work. Even though they spotted and 30 lbs. they will still kick your but. Just saying.

 Saw this doe and spot and One Other doe and crippled spike. Saw a big ol pig two. Came out right before the doe and spike on a trail at about 100 yards out.

Went Friday and saw 2 doe and jumped one scouting after the hunt. It is so thick and green the does I saw did not offer any kind of shot. Wind pretty rough too.
Decided to sleep in Saturday and help the wife clean house after checking the weather report at 4 AM and seeing the wind report.

Got in late but here. Since I couldn�t break away as fast as I wanted to I come to a quick spot. I will see deer but most likely the routine does and spots.
