We ran into two bass fishermen one morning EARLY at a gas station and got to talking with them. We told them what we were going after. One guy looks at us and says " I throw every one i catch back,,,,gutted!"  They get a bad rap for sure. yes they will eat a crappie, but I will too . Over all every one that I have ever opened up only had shad in it. yes the big ones get turned back, but this time of year when you pull them up from 40-50+ down they pretty much have a 100% mortality. Sad but it is what it is. I'm just acting like a lot of the Bass guys I know hate for the secrets to get out In my opinion, if done correctly, they are one of the best fish there is to eat.

MJ the difference is sharing the hole with 2-3 boats or 10-15 boats. I'm ornry and don't like crowds

Sat was tough, missed about 10 fish early, finally caught one and realized we were sitting over a bunch of 5-10lb fish. Ended up with 5 on the day, biggest about 15lbs.
Oh and DAM it was HOT!!!
