I thought the same thing after I killed my big buck last year. I was satisfied for about a week then I was ready to get back in the stand. Congrats on the kill! Trad bow is something ill prob never do. So you kill was super impressive to me because it's something I'll never do.
It's a fun way to hunt man. It's challenging and extremely frustrating at times (just like any other weapon) but man it's sweet when you connect. One thing I've learned through my years of hunting is that if I ever lose confidence in my shot I start over thinking everything. You can't do that when you're an instinctive shooter. It has to be a simple concentration on your target, pull, and release. I lost some confidence over the past few years with poorly placed shots and today nature corrected itself.
