Too hot for me too. I also have a 4 yr old grandson spending the night tonight. It is a long season and I may try and go Tuesday morning after my bus route. I can be in a tree by 9:45 AM and hunt a couple hours.
I very seldom hunt on Sundays but we have 2 grandsons playing travel ball and they both play in Peachtree City, Ga this Sunday. It is the last tournament for one and the next to last for the other.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

I hunt with my wife's 1st cousin and he went this morning while I worked and saw nothing. Heard and saw very few acorns and said it was green as all get out. We were covered in acorns last year but not this year.

My first camera check for the last 2 months ain�t good. I usually have a good many buck pics but there ain�t many this time. This was over a feed pile and salt lick. They did not plant the fields around our club so am wondering what that�s going to do.

Went this morning. Our woods are very thick and very green. Got turned around walking in and got lost so I opted to hunt an area I was unfamiliar width that looked promising. However, I saw nothing. But my hunting buddy saw 5 does.
Stayed till 10:20 AM. One of the grandkids had a soccer tournament in Auburn.
May try and go Tuesday morning after the rains on Monday.
