When I lived in Camden one of the folks who built in a newly opened area off Bridgeport road built a "drive over" pond in his front yard and stocked the pond with bass and bream. There came a heavy rain and the pond was overflowing into the original ditch. He was on the over flow in a very few inchs of water obviously tryng to keep something out of the pond. I went over to help him and it was Jack fish comming up the ditch and over the pond. Many of them. They were mostly about 10 inchs long and the dang head and mouth was a big percentage of the whole fish. That fellow didn't know what they were but he knew he didn't want them in his pond.
We killed probaly a dozen before the water stopped over flowning the dam. I know there were plenty of them around the camden area back then and there probaly still is.
