You and me both. Basically, about 5 years ago when my uncle died he started carrying his camper up there and hunting public land. Met a farmer in some restaurant that had 4k acres and found out Matt's a bow hunter. Asked him if he wanted to hunt it no charge. He bought a little cabin on the opposite side of the property for like $20k. It isn't a super nice cabin..just a place to sleep and eat. So basically, he is hunting 4k acres in Illinois for next to nothing and is the only one with hunting rights.
