I have never been on one that flat out banned dogs, but I will say I somewhat understand.

The guys who work their dogs and have them trained are no trouble and are an asset, but the majority of dogs that show up are a pain in the butt and cause aggravation for everybody on the field. I'm talking about the guy who bought a lab, or whatever pup, to make a bird dog out of and threw the tennis ball for it for a week or two in the backyard and thinks his dog will magically be a field dog. All these dogs wind up doing is turning birds, and taking your birds back to their owner or eating them.
