The problem is way too many people in this country think they are deserving of a handout. Too many don't want to work. People don't have pride anymore. Other generations would have been embarrassed to get food stamps or have their kids get free lunches at school. SSA and other agencies are overwhelmed by the amount of people that file for benefits. You can't have a smaller government and demand more services at the same time. Our system is imploding because we are paying more out than is coming in.
