Oh yes it's very possible and in other countries they do take pictures of the driver but the cheeses in Montgomery don't want it. I agree 110% it should have a front view

Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

I am personally damn well opposed to any such "red light" cameras anywhere, anytime...for all the reasons David outlined. Fk em.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

The way they have set it up you are responsible for whatever happens in a vehicle you own even if you are on a business trip in Russia.

300gr.., I understand you to have said that the cities are making most of this money. That is not the case in Selma. I can't remember the particulars but it was all done right before I retired and I remember thinking it was crap that the company was getting the larger cut of the pie. If this isn't the case in other cities, that is why I say Selma is getting screwed. All our fearless leaders heard was the sales pitch that we (the company) will bear all the cost and do all the work and will send you a percentage of what we collect. Our local gov't viewed it as free money. The company even gave them the legislation to get our local delegation to present to the state for approval.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with enforcing laws, but I feel strongly that this enforcement should not be done for private profit and I guess since I keep repeating this, you can tell it is something I feel very strongly about. Anytime, there is money to be made, at some point someone is going to find a way to rig the system to make more. That is as sure as death and taxes.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

My employer then gets this video clip emailed to them at a fee of $60 per video. They review it and then contact that driver for remedial action. The company that I work for enforces a 4 second policy for separation between company vehicle and the lead vehicle. One of our guys got written up last week for slamming on the brakes at 16mph (the video shows speed) when some moron cut in front of him in stop and go interstate traffic. I would have raised mortal Hell but he signed the infraction paper.
I just installed drivecams in my trucks because the biggest company that I contract with require them, I receive a half of a dozen emails a day for just about everything you can imagine, really serious issues they send a special email and I watch them, the others I just ignore. I don't get charged unless I request a video for a specific event that would have to be saved to their cloud and forwarded to whatever parties that might be affected by the event.
