I killed 3 this morning at Choccolocco. That's 3 more than I killed last season. Shot another but couldn't find it. Saw quite a few, at a distance. I couldn't find any squirrels last year. That is, until I started deer hunting. Going again in the morning.

I went out this morning on some TVA land and immediately turned around and came back. I thought it was fog I was walking into, turns out it was a cloud of mosquitos.

I went this morning on Wheeler & it was way to hot plus mosquitoes were as big as birds. Saw 3 but never got a shot.

I almost went to Wheeler, at my parents for the day and thought about going out there but opted for the TVA land closer to their house. I guess I should give it a few more weeks but I wanted to be in the woods and hunt something. I may still go this afternoon out on my lease.
