I'll admit that is a little petty, but when a picture is posted about age and comments are made it's 90% of the time xxx 1/2 years old. No matter what time of the year. For example, Here in Alabama fawns, for the most part have just dropped or only a few weeks old. So a buck pic of a 4 year old deer taken Sept 10 cannot be 4.5 years old. And that that same buck cannot be 4.5 years old in Feb. Right? Buck I killed last year was 4 years 5 months 21 days 3 hours old. I could tell by checking the rings on his umbilical cord. That would be about 4.484 or 4 31/64 YO.
