My hunting in Escambia county is done North off of Hwy 4. Somewhat near the State Lake. I do know some people that hunt the Wallace area though. What you wanna know and I'll talk to 'em and see if I cAn find out some information for ya.

Lots of deer and some nice ones too. It depends on where in Wallace the land is and if it's easily accessible. Lots of outlaws frequent that area because it is rural and Escambia County only has 2 game wardens so without someone to keep an eye on it, it could be a waste of time. If it's private land it should be ok but all of the paper company lands have been leased and let go after a few years so I would think if it was worth having, somebody would still have it. But there have been some fine deer killed around that area in the last few years.
