I bought some 10lb last year and it will straighten out a 3/0 worm hook without a hitch.

I spooled up the 15lb this weekend and couldn't believe how good it casts, NO MEMORY whatsoever, soft, and strong. It would sling a 1/2oz spinnerbait into the strong wind and the spool would remain tight.

I caught a 14lb hybrid in a field of standing timber, it ran everywhere stripping drag and burried up in 3 different tops. I got it in the boat and there wasn't a knick anywhere in my line, I didn't retie all day fishing rocks and timber.

BTW, I have now tried every brand of floro that I am aware of in the 14-17lb range.

I never joined the floro craze, I guess because of some of the issues people were having when it first came around. It seems like breaking at the knot was the problem, have you had any problems with this?

I never have any problems. Floro will burn itself when cinching if its not lubed adequately. If you have little spirals above your knot then you need to retie.

Seaguar has several different types. Which one is the line that you like?

I have heard some good things about the Abraz X as well. The Inviz has been plenty abrasion resistant enough for me.

I use Bass Pro Shops Excel. 1500 yards for 7.00.
Changed it out from time to time. I have a freezer full of fish.

Dayum fish don't care what brand line you use or how much it cost.

The BPS line is good and inexpensive.

Just ordered 3 spools of the Excel line based on the recomendations above.
