I wonder if you will be able to find a lawyer that will actually sue another lawyer?
Doekiller is telling y'all malpractice. That means possible disbarment. That means Alabama BAR. Hard to get an attorney to go after another.
Malpractice isn't always a disbarment. You only get disbarred for intentional acts. If it is a mistake, it can be malpractice but not an issue for the bar to discipline someone.
That's why I said POSSIBLE disbarment.
They would definitely know my name from now on I'd be having such a fit. I bought a small tract within the last year that took a lot of wrangling to get clear title and title insurance. The last deeded owner was killed in Vietnam. No kids. It should have gone to his parents. They have since died and he was their only child. A!so, son had different last name so no one was sure if it really was his dad. It took a year or better but I bought it from someone and noboby has complained. I made sure on title insurance and what was covered.
