I was always partial to Beauregards, but I haven't been much since they sold and reopened. Crickets in Madison is good.

Drakes has some siracha wings that are really good. Also have a good selection of beers on tap. Burgers are off the charts too.

They move into the old Public House building?

Crickets in Madison is at the top of my list. Less than 10 minutes from downtown Huntsville.

Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

Went to Drakes last weekend before the Jason Isbell concert. It was a good atmosphere

It is. It's one of our favorite places for burgers and beer. Hildegard's is the other one. Not for burgers but beer.

Opinions vary, but BWW is hard to beat. Haven't had wings there in a bit, but Baumhower's were good too last I tried them.

I like BWW but their ranch is terrible.

I haven't had crickets, but Moe's BBQ smoked wings are my favorite around town.

There is one on Airport Road and one on Jordan Lane just south of University Drive.

Moe's gets my vote. Haven't had Cricket's or 306 but I've heard both are consistently solid. Beauregard's *used to be* the best in town, but they've turned to absolute crap. Seriously, don't waste your money there. And that's not a one-time bad experience. I tried going back 4x since the new ownership, and each time they were terrible....Yes it took me 4x over the course of a couple years to learn my lesson. I honestly didn't know wings could be so small. Looked like hummingbird wings. The "large" order took up like a friggin' quarter of one of those little paper wing serving cups. Ridiculous.

EDIT - Now, having said all that - to be fair - If someone chimes in and reports that they've actually turned things around and gotten it back to the old quality and I experience the same, I'll be the first to give them a big thumbs up. The place used to be awesome.
