To be honest, I think the headband is best. I plan on trying that this year.

Yeah but you look around a lot! Ive only ever used a go pro duck hunting and the head strap made you sick to watch. I used the chest strap and it was a lot more stable. Also better make sure there is a ton of light and your target is closer than 20yds. Now that I think about it go pros suck for filming hunts!
Not trying to steer you away from the gopro but have you ever watched hunting vidoes filmed with one. A deer 15yds away lookds 100. I wanted to do the same but that turned me away.
Yeah, the GoPro requires the subject being filmed to be real close. You're better off with a decent hand held camera that offers optical zooming. Do not get one with digital zooming. That just makes the pixels bigger and it's pretty much worthless.

bow mounts are good to film with but you dont get any of the bow itself in the picture. i personally prefer the view from the chest mount. gives a more broad picture. at the end of the day it all comes down to personal preference, worst case scenario you try out all 3 of the mounts and see what you like best!
anyone ever used the tacticam? could be a good alternative
I have used the tactacam, and they have a new model that is magnified. I found that it worked well and took great video, until you released the arrow. The vibration from the bow pretty much eliminated seeing the arrow hit, but came back into focus pretty quickly.
You'd have to remember to turn the bow to follow the deer as it hopefully piled up 40-50 yards away.
I sold it as I just didn't have time to fool with it.
