Have a 2013 300 and 2016 Ram. Both have the 5.7 Hemi. Really like them both. Using cruise control and driving no more than about 5 over limit, the 300 will average 24 to 25 mpg and the Ram 22 to 23.
We've taken newer Ram 5.7 pick-ups on business trips on several occasions and got similar mileage. The newer Dodge trucks get good mileage in my experience.
That said, I don't see myself buying a Chrysler product any time soon, and that includes a Jeep. I just don't trust their reliability.
