I have seen black women I am naturally attracted to. Never seen a dude I was attracted to. Those are just my own observations but they also fall in line with what the Bible has to say about the subjects as well.

I'm not gonna chime in too much on this subject, but disowning a child is a threat very few people are actually ready to follow through on.

Dang easy to threaten it, but tossing a child to the curb is a wee bit harder than that...or should be.

And if your son was in the band? They wear the same uniforms with "sequins".

Kinda like drinking. I don't drink and never have. Don't think it's right. But I don't condem folks who do. Same principal. My children are just not going to do it under my roof. I guess I'm more strict than most modern day parents.

Ok, so suppose they were like half way between what you described (you know a lot about girls dresses) and a normal band outfit, would you still throw him out and abandon him?

I'm not going to let him stay and condone it. I was raised you live under my roof it's my way or the highway. Same here. I would
Not even want him in the band but would not kick him out for it. If he is prissing around and talking like a fig. ..... Aint gonna happen. I mean I don't have to worry about it either. My kid is always out with his pole fishing or bb gun shooting birds.

I'm i too harsh. Anybody feel the same as me.

I can't see turning my back on my child for anything. It's a good thing our Lord and Savior doesn't turn His back on us when we let Him down.

Talk about a paradox. This week in the local paper there was a picture of the award winners on the Jr. High football team from Beulah. The headhunter award went to a girl. Don't have the full story yet, but she looked like she would bust your butt.

My dad always told me that he knew I was smart enough to do anything that I wanted and that he would be proud of me if I did what made me happy, even if it meant that my passion was working at Mcdonalds. He was proud of me before I ever did anything because he had confidence that I would be great, if I wanted to be a damn cheerleader he woulda been the loudest mug up in the bleachers.

On a side note, I had to learn to be tough because I lack the filter that keeps my mouth closed most of the time. Can you imagine how tough a boy would be if he grew up as a cheerleader through high school? Probably turn out to be a UFC fighter grin

It's not normal behavior. Yea I would probably be embarrassed too. If I had video of the kid you would be too. I was embarrassed for him and didn't even know him. I would definaltly not go watch him.

I would not turn my back to the point of any harm being brought to them. It would be to learn a lesson there are rules that must be followed or there are consequences. Just like laws to obey.

I was a cheerleader in college and let me tell you all of us were former high school football players or played other sports and out of all the guys on our squad none of them were gay, in fact all of us are either engage or married. We even had a intramural flag football team that finished with only one lost.
I hunt, fish, spend time outdoors, am engaged to a beautiful woman, and I am EXTREMELY conservative.

Anyways my point was we did it for scholarship money. We were required to lift weights with other athletes and had set study halls and training schedules. We got kicked in the face, landed on, elbowed in the mouth. I played ever sport in high school and the only one that I ever got seriously hurt in was cheering in college.

So another point of mine is do not lump male cheerleaders in with guys who twirl batons and wears a skimpy shirts. Cheering in college provided me a scholarship and I got some good friends out of it.

Fortunately, you don't know me very well. What other kids do that gets under the skin of irrelevant adults doesn't get me riled up. Adults getting riled up entertains me. Thanks

Shoot no. Them college cheerleaders I wouldn't mess with them for nothing. They all could whip my tail. The ones I've seen at highschools. Where the flipping, one foot up on the tip toes giving spirt fingers.

I guess I'm a hypocrite in a way. I wouldnt mind my girl being a Tom boy you know as long as she still liked boys. But wouldn't mind her hunting, playing sports or anything else. Probably would prefer it to pageants and all that crap.
