They are about the most expensive. Are they better than Owners?

Only difference I've seen in them when putting them jigs and spinner baits is rather than loose a .40 hook I lost a 2.00 hook. They may have came down since then.

Owner offset wide gap 5/0 is my go to worm/Senko hook. Don't know how anything would be much better?

I like any hook Owner makes. They are heavier wire. I can bend a Wide gap Gammy with my hands. I don't like wide gap jigs for this reason. I just wondered since I see so much advertisement for Trokar hooks.

Owner is my hook of choice. Specifically targeting 10+ fish in the spring every year, it is all I will use. I use either a 4/0 or 5/0 Owner wide gap bend extra strong in the black chrome finish. I think the 4/0 product # is 5102-141. It is the only hook I have found that will not open up when matched with excessively heavy tackle against excessively heavy/strong fish. I think that both the Gamakahtsu and Trokars may be a little sharper but both will open up on you when you really have to lock down and stop/turn one.

Just bought 50 of the 5102-151 5/0's; I especially like to fish 6" Yum Dingers with then, you will not miss many or loose many.

I have used both making jigs. I think the Owner is a sharper/stronger hook.
