His name is Mickey and I think it's called "Good ol Boys". It's on 11 just north of Springville.

He's still open, he moved last year to a place he built off of Crawfords Cove. It's about 4 or 5 miles from the old place. It's called Country Boys

Good to know. Where is it? I went by his old place last year and he was closed and his cell number said disconnected.

I don't know why his number would be different, but he moved because he was renting the old place. That's all I know.

There is a map in my signature. Add your favorite place.

Thanks for putting the map together. That's a great help. I've been using Buck and Nannies this season and they have done a great job so far.

X2. Have been using ground meat and link sausage from the deer I shot earlier this year. First time I have used them and the meats are excellent. The grilled burgers we ate this weekend would make anyone believe they were eating ground chuck.

Note to anyone that uses Nichol's Processing in Selma, they have moved to a new location on Landline Road (Hwy 219) somewhere by the Alabama Power warehouse.

I recently used Wilderness Processors, in Green Pond. The meat was ready in 7 days (quick turn around but they didn't let it hang and age any). Its a small operation. They called saying they needed me to get my venison because they were out of freezer space. It was very expensive. All cuts were a la cart, no flat fee for cutting up the deer. Hamburger was packaged into 1 lb blocks rather than 2 lbs, which is good.
