Find a really good Assembly if God Church that has an active Royal Ranger program. My husband, rest his soul, ran one at our Church for years. They do some of the same stuff, but learn to be good Christian gentlemen. They go camping and have pinewood derby races. God Bless!

Royal Rangers is a very good program. The leaders have to go through training and a weekend trip where they treat you like a kid. At the end of the weekend they explain that this is not how you want to treat your kids. They want the boys to have a good experience with the program.

I was a Royal Ranger commander for years. It's a good program if it's well run. Just like there are super active and we'll run scout programs and there are less than great ones. It all depends on the particular group. The organization itself is a good one. At least when I was associated with it.
