First game of the year when all teams, even Alabama, struggle to find an offensive rhythm. My guess is a low scoring brawl with Alabama winning in the 4th quarter. Only about two or three times in the past 10 years has Bama failed to score at least 35 points in opening games. 52 last year with a freshman QB against a team that finished in the top 5. 34-20 Tide Rolls

Killed USC, no doubt. Put points up against Whisky and VA Tech but it wasn't pretty and it wasn't against the kind of talent they'll see against FSU. I could be wrong but I just think it's going to be sloppy. Alabama is better coached and more disciplined so I believe they will win but I think it'll be a struggle.

If you want to start Judging games from last season then go back and watch the Clemson/FSU game and the FSU/Florida games. Then watch the Florida/Bama and the Clemson/Bama game. Then tell me its not going to be a very close matchup.
Reason for the low score is I think both Defences will dominate the game being the first game of the season. I Know Bama is stout but so is FSU this year. Watch out for 99 rushing the edge he's a difference maker.

Secondary maybe...D-Line...no way in Hell. FSU's weak link in their O-Line, Francois got his clock cleaned last year, no reason to think it will be any different this year. Bama' s O-line is prob the best in the SEC, Bama has the best RB core in the Nation. FSU will keep is close for a while but they wont be able to stay with this Bama team.
