Snuffy is right with some generalizations.
Where is the incentive to work hard if you know there is a big stack of cash waiting for you.
Some will take it and invest and some will blow it on Coke, hoes and Land Rover's. And some poor people will take every penny they have an gamble it or spend it on heroine. The rich stay rich and the poor stay poor. That's a generalization that is shown to be true in numerous studies.
