Charlie the question is an unknown answer.
We know what things cost today... If you believe in inflation unlike our government you could potentially need a lot more than $2800 per month from Social Security. Or you will have to adjust your lifestyle to suit your budget.
It is unknown really and up to the individual. However I see a lot more poor people on the Horizon and a LOT of people that can't retire and maintain their lifestyle.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
