Spine shot a deer with a bow when I was probaly 14. It kept trying to get up and I kept shooting. Dont remember how many arrows I had but I do remember my dad walking up and saying he thought is was a pin cushion.

Shot an armadillo 5 times with a colt 45 one day. Those low powered cowboy loads just don't have the knock down power.
Also, shot a squirrel 3x with a blowgun before he kicked the bucket.
Only accurate rifles are interesting.

Worked at Camp Mac, they thought about raising quail for a few years. Had a house cat get in the fly pens. We finally caught him in there and surrounded him chased him out of the pan I shot him 3 times at about 25 yds with 3" 4shot spun him every time finally another guy walked up and shot him 3 times in the head with a .22 before he stopped moving. He had been in the fly pen about 3-4 weeks and weighted about 25-30 lbs. No telling how many birds he had eaten.

I know a guy who went sit in a tripod looking over a clearcut one morning. He left with the 5 rounds that fit in his rifle. He had a doe walk out in the clearcut and he thought it was about 350 yds. He set up and shot and shot over the deer and the doe started running toward him. He had his scope turned all the way to 16.5 power and as the doe got closer it got harder to keep her in the scope. After firing all 5 shots and clicking twice the doe stopped about 100 yds down the hill looked around and walked off into the creek bottom. I uh he got down and went back to the camp and cooked breakfast and got one hell of a ribbing from the guys when they got in from hunting.

When I was 15 me and dad were deer hunting on nat forest. When we were walking down power line to our spot he let me go about another 300 yards on down from where he stopped. About out of sight of him I saw 7 piglets and a big sow eating acorns about 75 yards off the power line. I put the crosshairs right behind the shoulder and let it go. She started running and I shot again and heard a squeal. Then one more when she topped the hill. We gave her around 30 minutes before we started looking for her. We found her still alive laid down about 300 yards from the top of hill down in a huge bottom. When we got down there dad said here son finish her and gave me his smith and wesson 357 to put one in her head. When we cleaned her she had 9 piglets in her. So a total of 4 shots and maybe a little more then one critter.

Bobcat toted 4 shots from a 30-06 one mornin suckers aint got no will to die. Ma daddy and his buddy went to wma in south alabama in the 80's on a muzzleloader hunt. Daddy was shooting a 45cal an the other feller was shootin a 50cal. They got up that mornin an each of them had 5 shots. It got about daylight an daddy heard his buddy shoot then again and 3 more times after that daddy knew he didnt nothin left to reload. He come walkin up an his buddy was bout half way up a little pine tree an his gun was layin on the ground. Daddy asked him what he was doin an he said "imah runnin frum thahtt" an pointed right next to daddy on the otherside of a log..it was a big tom bobcat. He hit it all 5 shots with the 50cal muzzleloader an he said it jumped up runnin at him on the 5th shot so he throwed his gun at it an run up tha tree. Daddy said tha kitty was in tuff shape but still livin so he finished it off. Daddy said he shot a spike in tha back of the head 3 times with a 30-30 in barbour co an had to get down an stab it..said you could grab its antlers an fold the skin an skull over its nose but he said it got back up 3 times an he shot it down ever time but it just wouldnt die.

easy answer...my wife shot a blue wilderbeast in Zim with a 375H&H. As it ran off I shot twice with my 375H&H, and the PH shot three times with his 458Lott. After a follow up tail I shot it again with my 375H&H. Damn thing looked like swiss cheese, but it ran over 400 yards toting six hits.
I shot a black bear with a 375H&H. Found it 200 yards later, looked dead. As I approached to within five feet it came to it's feet roaring. I shot it three more times in about two seconds...with a single shot rifle.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I ran a Nylon 66 .22 long rifle dry on a yote one time. It came to a call a 30mph out of a can thicket, I started shooting at 15 yards, kept shooting thru the stop and turn, ran out of shells bout time it fell at 25 yards.

I'm sure that was terrifying, but thats an awesome story.
