I'm going to pick van dam. Not just because he's probably the best angler in the world, but for a couple reasons.
1) he's won a lot of tournaments when the bites are tough, and total weights are down. Like when the classic was in pittsburgh a few years ago.
2) I think the waters will warm just a couple degrees, and there will be some good fish caught on lipless crankbaits off the main river. I think that will play to his strengths.
Duckett and Lane will be in the running, but I'm pulling for Swindle to get his first win.
