the best IMO if it'll pull it is a old 4 0r 5 foot pull type they used with some thing like a farmall 100 . it'll break pretty good and cover seed great . you can find them cheap if you look . here's what it looks like

This is what I have used for smaller plots where a tractor won't go. It will cut up some turf for a small cutter.
