And a 243 is a basically a necked down .308 A 6mm-08 if you will.

IMO there is a much better variety of bullets in 7mm and they typically have a much higher Ballistic Coefficient.

EDIT: Oh yea, the 260 Rem too. Guess it could be called the 6.5mm-08
