Taxes filed April 17. Does anyone know a way to check when you should be expecting your State Refund? I have gone to MY ALA REFUND for the last 2 months and it is still says the following:
"Your return has been received and it is being processed. The processing time varies for each return. You should receive your refund 8 to 12 weeks from today provided you do not owe any taxes for prior years or other state agencies."
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Filed my taxes in February. Got my refund in May. Since you filed so late, gonna be awhile.

I called them several times and they always helped. I got the number off myalabamataxes.alabama.gov
not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

It took over a year in 2015 I believe they give some folks the runaround Mine said that also but that is a standard message they put on there sometimes. They had everything from my employer. I finally got mine in May I believe. Filed early February.

I had to paper file because my tax identification was hacked and several fraudulent returns had been filed. I got a check thru the mail 2 weeks ago. I was expecting more than a year.

I received a fraud notice in the mail and had to go online and verify my return before they would process. Make sure you haven't misplaced a piece of mail.
