Honestly, if they had a good authentic Mexican restaurant at the coast, I'd eat there, as it would be the only one I've found in Alabama. There are some pretty decent Mexican restaurants, but they lack in the truly authentic department.
Tacky Jack's has good nachos if those count. Jawbone if you ever get to Jemison we have an authentic Mexican joint, it sit's right next to the Chevron at the red light where you turn off of 31 on to 191, The food is freaking great and it is for real Mexican food..
