Ok guys, don't roast me to bad... I want to get my wife her first deer (or couple) but my work schedule is going to be pretty rough this fall and I won't have time to put in the work I need to. So... I am thinking of getting a weekend at a guided place where I can sit with her and video. This will be the first time I have ever used such a service or lodge.
Do y'all have any recommendations on a lodge where
1. The accommodations are decent and she will be comfortable
2. She will see a lot of deer to keep the interest up
3. She will have a chance at seeing a decent buck.
4. Maybe have a chance at hogs or coyotes etc...
I am fine with spending a little money for a good experience, but as counterintuitive as it sounds, I DO NOT want to do a high fence.
Any help would be awesome, thank you in advance.

Alabama River Lodge...Bojie Beers will get her a shot at a deer or two. The accomodations are nice. Ask him when he has some other women booked if you think that will make her more comfortable. Or better yet, if she can wait until the Jan. rut... bring her on the Morgan Academy benefit hunt...Find the details at http://www.jtmorganacademy.org/deer-hunt. A lot of women come to this. I honestly don't know how we would handle a non-hunter, fee wise, but I assure you something can be worked out.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Hurricane Creek Lodge in Red Bay. Excellent facility. They do have a preserve, but their open range hunts a very productive. My wife does not hunt but, says the time spent at Hurricane Creek ranks as some of the best down time we've ever had. The lodge is impressive.
