It amazes me that people think that 20% of the FL population is killed by cars every year.
Seems like the place to look for them would be on the highway, huh?
And, you better hurry....because according to their reproduction rate, you only have a couple of years left to see one with that kind of mortality rate! One can only hope they would all disappear. What they have done to the biodiversity in the southern half of Florida is a damn shame. They have wiped out the small prey base, wild hogs and are now decimating the deer herd. Some areas it has gotten so overpopulated with them they are killing peoples pets , livestock etc. Believe me you do not want them established in Alabama.
