Anyone ever use "CCI Shotshell" ammo for a 40cal.? Thinking about trying it just in case of snakes. Most of the time I carry a 410 snake charmer but sometimes I need both hands free. I need to know if it will cause harm to my Glock. Also would like to know how dependable and effective it is.
Of all the things I've ever lost, I think I miss my mind the most.

Looks like they have some new loads in pistol calibers with #4shot.

Probably won't cycle your glock.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

I could be wrong (no surprise there) but i don't think they make any for a .40. Larry's has .22, 9mm, and .38 - I've not seen any .40. It will not cycle any semiauto and has limited range. It will barely penetrate cardboard at 10 feet. You'd do better just loading your own.

They do make them for .40, and no, they won't hurt your pistol. As stated, probably won't cycle it, but every once in a while they do. I have some in .38, 9mm, .45, and .22. Effective range falls off sharply out past about 7', optimum range is about 5'.

They make it in .40. In my Glock about every other round stove pipes but it works in a pinch, I keep a mag of them loaded in my truck just for this case

Thanks guys. You made up my mind for me. I think I'm just going to brake down and buy a JUDGE.
