Gotta love it when they want to play! Had three longbeards come 300 yards down a public road (blacktop highway), cross a bridge and come into the pecan orchard we were set up in. They ran past us at 8 steps going to my strutter decoy. Amanda had to let them finish beating up ol' Fred before they would seperate enough to shoot. After a good 5 minute show one got open and she shot. Things got kinda Western for a few seconds but thanks to TSS we both killed really nice gobblers. Hers: 10" beard 1.25" spurs 19lbs. Mine: 10" beard 1 1/8" spurs 23 lbs.

Nice. Both birds and the decoy look a little beat up in that first pic, like a 3 way cage match took place.

Congrats to both! I am sure glad I'm not hunting today. It is 35 degrees, sleeting, and 35-40 mph winds. I didn't bring clothes for this.
