Check the rubber boot that goes over the switch under the button you press with your foot. If that makes sense. On the foot control, look under the button you press to cut the TM on with, there will be a button that is pressed that will have a rubber boot over it. These are notorious for wearing out. So without the rubber boot, the button may not be pressed fully to cut the TM on. Solution, take a plastic chunk (jig trailer), tear the legs off and jam it in there. If that doesn't work, take it to Alabama Trolling Motors on Hwy 79 in Pinson/Tarrant.
