you should be worried. if you got off that easy somethings up. perhaps she just spent a lot of money, or maybe her mom is coming to stay for a couple of weeks, or even worse yall have to go to her friends wedding opening day of gun season,or ....well you get the picture.

So how did the experiment go? Cooking acorns makes stinky water. I have no idea how deer will respond to it.

I've seen lots of deer eat acorns , never saw them boil them first ! I wonder if they'd be attracted to the water from boiled peanuts ?

My relatives used to boil acorns to take the bitterness out of them and then grind them up to make acorn bread. They had dark stained teeth but deer never smelled their breath. They were called Muscogee.

I used the acorn water this weekend. Can't say for sure that it helps, can't say for sure that it doesn't. I did have a doe and fawn come in downwind Saturday morning. She popped out of some very thick pines into a clearning in the woods, 15 yards downwind. I had sprayed all my clothes with the acorn juice.
