My wife had a meeting tonight so I decided to finally make some acorn juice for cover scent or possibly an attractant. I had about a gallon or so of white oak acorns. I took a hammer and smashed about 75 of them on a cutting board and have been stewing them in water for about 2 hours. I didn't think white oak acorns had much smell. When you put them in boiling water and simmer them for 2 hours, the whole house smells funny. The large spoon that I've been using to stir them with is now permanently stained dark brown. I'm also using one of my wifes "Pampered Chef" stock pots to cook them in. She should be home in about 30 minutes. I plan on being in bed by then. Surely she won't yell at me while I'm asleep. If I haven't logged in and posted something by 8PM tomorrow night, somebody call the sheriff.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

I wear the dang pants in this house! She came in and asked, "What the heck are you cooking?" I told her, and all she said was, "well, it stinks." She even cleaned the pot. smile

"Why do you ask"?

Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.
