Got some real candidates for the old well on here.  The right way to deal with a turkey off your property is to set up 50 yards from the property line and call him across the line and shoot him. I've done this quite a few times and it is extremely satisfying to kill a turkey in this manner. I have absolutely no objection to my neighbors trying to do the same to a turkey on our land. That's the way the game is supposed to be played. If you cheat and cross the line, you are admitting to yourself that you aren't good enough to do it right. You are not a turkey hunter, you are just an ordinary criminal. Find something else to do for your jollies and stay out of the turkey woods. This is the correct answer.
