anybody ever shot one of these or have one of these? i was looking at them on the net today and the ammo looks dang sexy. short and fat with a steep shoulder and a small bullet. i may have to build on of these in the future. are they on a short action or a long?

I had a 6-284 built years ago. Had a fast twist for the long bullets. It smoked a many a doe out to about 500.

I got a buddy that has one that is well under half moa out to 1000.

He's won plenty of matches with it...

I was talking to guy tonite that built one a few years back. He said he got well over 2000 rounds out of his first barrel and did well in matches up until it went south.

He was very high on the 6.5-284 as opposed to the 6-284. Those long aerodynamic bullets are awesome.
