I have 8 extruded discs in my spine. I have been on and off pain management since I was 31 (almost two decades). I've never used heroin. I have a small stash of lortab 10's that I guard with my life because when I need them - I REALLY NEED THEM and they are now impossible to get.

I grew up in places where everything was not legal but no one enforced any drug laws. I've done every drug but heroin and mushrooms. I'm clean now simply because I live in a place where it's REALLY not cool.

I would do a couple of lines of coke a quarter if it was legal or ignored. I don't miss any of it, I don't crave any of it.

Addiction rests with the individual, not the supply of the drug.
