According to him he don't care. We're going to upper bear to see what he can find. I know he has been on upper bear and picwick several times. As far as temp. I believe he is set up to play under ice. So don't think that will be a issue

I'm still pissed about losing my keys at Howtons and that was 20 years ago so I can feel you Brandon. I lost a diamond cluster ring my step-dad gave me (it was his) jet skiing 15 years ago. I'm still pissed....

Brandon I know a diver too that could help. Not sure what he'd charge but if you want his number let me know and I'll get it to you. He's retrieved numerous sunken items for people.

Contact your local rescue squad or sheriffs dept for names of divers in the area. I may cost you a little but sounds like its worth it.

I've used one of those hooks you deep fry a turkey with to retrieve a friend's shotgun in about 20 ft if water. It worked pretty good. It will fall on its side when it gets to the bottom because it's top heavy..... like my wife...

I might take you up on that if the magnet doesn't work out. I figure the battery and trolling motor are toast so I'm really just hoping to get my two rod/reels back at this point. The costas would be a nice bonus item to pick up.

Goodluck, the trolling motor may not be toast if you let it dry out REAL good. They are made to be in wet environments.
Can't wait to hear the story however
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

We used a big treble hook and weight for a friend's rid and tell in 20-30 feet of water.
Took a long time but we finally got it.

I've seen an old man man pull up many a fishing rods with one of those old school metal fish stingers that looks like a chain with safety pins on it. Tie one end to a rod with heavy line. Unsnap all the hooks so that they're all open to snag stuff. Cast it out and slowly drag it back along the bottom.
