Alabama has recently instituted new regulations where a doctor has to check a data base to see if a person has been prescribed narcotics recently and the dose amounts given in an attempt to stop people from going from doctor to doctor. Also there is a similar data base pharmacies are suppose to use now.

I don't know if these things will help. But, the state and the Feds are tracking what doctors prescribe now.
