I carried a featheflex for alooooong time an killed turkeys with it. Now ive got me an avian x feeder hen. Always remember tho if you use one try to set it up not directly between you and the direction you think the turkey may be coming. Becaude if hes lookin at the decoy he'll be lookin at you, so i try to set it up and sit to the side or at an angle aprox 25 yards. Since you have somebody callin for you id try to get my gunner way out ahed of the decoy in a similar fashion and call the turkey past him thats a good easy beginner strategy that works.
