What kind of rod do you guys like for ripping a trap in the grass?
I have tried cranking sticks and regular medium heavy sticks but I haven't found one I like.

I dont do much of that but the 7 foot medium veritas winch is the best crankbait ive ever had
We will burn that bridge when we get there

7''3 hammer rod. Medium heavy or even heavy. I prefer the medium heavy with 20 lb Fluor for ripping through the grass. Call up to the tackle trap and he will hook you up.

I really like my Powell inferno 705c. If I can ever find another one used in good shape at a good price I'll be buying another one.

No this is not a cranking stick. They do make cranking rods though ifcyou would rather have that. I don't like a cranking stick for snatching a bait out of grass

I like a 7,6 because I yo-yo red eye shads and rip them out of the grass.
